What If… Alfred Hitchcock Had Made Superhero Movies?
To celebrate Alberto Muriel taking over as the regular artist on Propeller, we’ve decided to give our readers a little something extra. Given the huge influence of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies on our own “Superpowered Suspense Story”, we thought it would be interesting to reimagine some iconic Hitchcock moments with a super twist. So without further ado, Cinema Propeller presents the stars of superhero movies in the films of Alfred Hitchcock, as drawn by our very own Alberto. Enjoy!

Nice page, cool extras.
Thank you as always, Chad, for your kind words. Unfortunately, you appear to be the only person to have found the “cool extras” all the way down here!
Be patient, you have a really great product. People will come to view it as time passes. Keep it up!
I found these extras too. They look even better than the actual comic page.
What’s better than awesome? Stupendous?
Glad you found, and liked, the bonus material.
Being a huge Marvel movie fan — I was especially excited by the appearance of Osborn and Loki …. but mostly Loki. And Dent. The coin was the perfect addition.
Glad you like them.
I am also a die-hard fan of the Marvel movies (especially the actual Marvel Studios ones) and I couldn’t be more excited about the next batch of films and tv shows leading up to Avengers 2. I just hope they hurry up and have Jarvis (voiced by the incredible Paul Bettany) evolve into either Ultron or The Vision before all the actors get too old and everything gets rebooted.
Fantastic. Look forward to more from the artist and writer both!
Welcome. And thank you.
Would Victor Von Doom or Reed Richards be the Man Who Knew Too Much?
After some research, it appears that you may in fact be The Man Who Knew Too Much! Your website is amazing. I would genuinely love to know what you make of the “science” of Rex’s push teleportation power (from the webcomic that you may not have got around to reading yet).
You may have just got the io9 bump! Nice stuff!
Thanks, and thanks for the heads up.

Nice idea. I think Joker as Norman Bates in “Psycho”? and Barbara Gordon in the shower…
The one that nearly made it in was Marion Cottilard as “Miranda” (from Dark Knight Rises) in a phone booth being hassled by lots and lots of bats. But we had to draw the line somewhere – so many iconic Hitchcock moments, so many opportunities to “Super” them up!

Outstanding work. I will pass this on to others.
Many thanks, Colin. If you or any of the others like comics, there’s a pretty good one happening at this site right now!

Very nice, the lines are so clean and the expressions are great!
Great minds think alike?
There’s a couple of Hitchcock refs in Season 6 of the Simpsons. “Bart of Darkness” is a major take on Rear Window, complete with a “James Stewart” cameo. And at the end of “Fear of Flying”, after Marge’s phobia has been explained by the trauma of seeing her father working as a trolley dolly, she recalls a few other bad flying-related memories – including being strafed by a biplane, the exact scene from North by Northwest that Alberto has used.
Hitchcock & Simpsons – what’s not to like?
Great! It made me envision: Sue Storm in The Lady Vanishes.
